meet the Founder

Cece Teneal is passionate advocate for community-based arts. With a global stage presence spanning over 20 years and performances in 55 countries, she has mesmerized audiences worldwide.

But CeCe's impact goes beyond the spotlight. Through partnerships with esteemed organizations like Pace Center for Girls, Central Florida Community Arts, Fusion Fest, and Orange County Public Schools, she discovered a missing piece. It became clear that she possessed a unique responsibility to empower young girls who shared her experiences. With a goal to offer heartfelt interactions, mentorship, and the power of music, she created Brown Girls Sing.
